First time ever there. Kind of hard to find. Well worth looking for. Authentic Mexican atmosphere. The building kind of looks like an old Whataburger building in the giant shape of an A. Friendly staff. We enjoyed just waiting for our food. Chips and salsa were served before our dinner very delicious chips very delicious salsa. I had a green chili chimichanga with rice and beans on the side.which was out of this world.
Best green corn tamale I have had since I lived in Tucson. Fresh chips and salsa. Great Mexican food, hot and tasty! We will come back.
I used to love eating at this restaurant, but it has progressively gone downhill for the past year. The ladies who work the bar are very pleasant, but the quality of food is not good. When we sit in the restaurant instead of the bar, it's very difficult to get service. Most of that staff look like high schoolers who could care less about customer service. I go back every once in a while, but have yet to have my current opinion of this establishment. Pity too because I want to like it.
Waitress was not very kind. She took over 5 min to even acknowledge our group. Never once came and asked us about or experience. The bus boy they just hired was more friendly and helpful. Food was bland salsa was just ok tasted better after adding salt and pepper.
We have eaten here for almost 30 years since our kids were little, their favorite place, now we eat here with our grandkids, also their favorite place. Good food, good staff. Family owned and operated. The green corn tamales are awesome.
