Quality of the food options are awesome. Love it here.
Always short on cashiers which sometimes bites them in the butt. Could be nobody checking out and then everyone in the store bottlenecking for one line. But they do have awesome prices on meat selection which is better quality than most other grocery stores outside of Trader Joe's.
Also, love that they value employees enough to not replace them with machines for self-checkout.
I'm here 5 times a week. The employees are so kind and personable. Everyone is always happy and welcoming. From the cashiers to the baggers to the bakery/deli to the meat department, they have been so awesome to me and my family. Never encountered a grumpy employer.
The pharmacy staff are friendly & knowledgeable. Same day pick up is usually available for prescriptions. However, I'm not impressed with the grocery check out service. There's almost always a line of customers & only 1-2 registers open. If I only have a couple of items, I check out at the pharmacy while picking up meds.
Be careful!!! I came in to buy a pre paid card and put $260 on a netspend card. After the lady informed me it was a good card I came home to activate it. When I called I gave them my SSN this was kinda weird but you have to give your SSN for just about everything nowadays then things got really weird when they asked for copies of my SS CARD and my ID!!! Obviously going to steal my identity! I refused and called Safeway for a return to get my money back the manager told me it was out of his hands. Even though I have just given them $260 in CASH! Then proceeded to tell me he has never heard of this happening.... If you google the company it's all over the Internet and has been around 2013!!! But it's still on there shelf and they are taking people into buying them! Horrible people!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I will also be reporting this location!
This store nicer than other locations. Great Employees &this Store out of 3 others...Ask if u need help w/carryout. I don't understand why I've to ask&then wait several mins to get carryout???? Its as if u asked for something out of ordinary. Wickenburg location a yr ago used to ask no matter what&then they stopped! Chino store,ive shopped a yr now...ive to ask every time!
